William Gibbs Charity Concert

Concert in celebration of the restoration of Betty, the pipe organ of St John's Hyde Park. The Choral Scholars of St John's Hyde Park will be accompanied by this historic and newly restored instrument.

The first half will be a Mass-terful Meandering, including

Tickets £10 from St John's or on the door.

The event will raise funds for the William Gibbs Religious and Educational Trust, which provides grants for education, training and religious activities locally.

This event is part of the programme of events celebrating the restoration of Betty, the pipe organ of St John's Hyde Park, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Betty was originally constructed in 1865 by Hill and Sons and the 3-manual Hill organ was restored to her original sound in 2015 thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund. To learn more about the project to save Betty, the organ, visit her own website.
