Successful Brewery Venture

In March 2017 the local Culture Vultures ventured into new territory with a visit to the Fuller Brewery at Chiswick. Beer has been brewed on site since around 1700. The tour started and finished (with some beer tasting) in the Hock Cellar where the harvest ale would be stored up for distribution to the workers in the fields. In said cellar it was great to see two local pubs (The Victoria of Strathearn Place who set up the tour for us and The Mad Bishop and Bear at Paddington Station) honoured on the displays at the museum.

After beer tasting the vultures moved on to The High Road Brasserie for a lovely lunch.
