Organ's ode to an Orange

On Saturday, 21st November, our own Nicholas Miller gave a brilliant Organ Recital including Bach's Sinfonia to Cantata 29, Enrico Bossi's Scherzo in G minor and Durufle's Toccata from Suite pour Orgue op. 5 and Porter Heaps' Nocturne for an Orange. Nicholas' hands and the organ's manuals were projected onto a large screen. This was particularly entertaining as the Nocturne was played using an actual orange.

For further recitals and information about the recent restoration of Betty, the Grade II* listed Organ at St John's Hyde Park visit her website. The organ, built by Hill & Son in 1865, was restored in 2015 with help from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
