St John's is proud to present a Crib suitably modern for 2009. Light artist, Nicky Carter, and installation artist, Tony Heywood, have created an alternative, abstract re-presentation of the nativity scene for our church.

Mary and Joseph are represented by two contemporary light works: blue, Mary, and orange, Joseph. A jewelled Jesus lies bathed in light, symbolised by a reflective sculpture picking out the colour of the church's stained glass.

Both Nicky Carter and Tony Heywood are represented by The Fine Art Society, London.
