Resources for Prayer
PrayTake some time off for GOD:
rest for a while in Him.

Come now, put aside your busy-ness for a while,
take refuge for a time from your troublesome thoughts:
throw away your cares, and let your burdensome worries wait.

Take some time off for GOD:
rest for a while in Him.

Enter the secret room of your mind,
put out everything except GOD,
and whatever helps you to find Him.
Close the door of your mind, and SEEK GOD.

Say NOW to GOD with all your heart,
"I SEEK YOUR FACE, LORD:
YOUR FACE I SEEK."
(St Anselm)

Image All creation speaks of God's love and all creation responds to God. For us, one way to respond to God is through prayer. Prayer is at the heart of our lives as Christians and of the church's worship. Here you will find links to a cycle of daily prayer provided by the Church of England. Feel free to use it as you wish.

For a more browser-friendly form of daily prayer try Sacred Space, a site run by Irish Jesuits. Or you can try Daily Prayer from rejesus.co.uk. This version uses Flash.

Through rejesus you can also post a prayer for others to read, take time to pray for other people who have posted there and light a candle as part of your prayer for a person or situation.
