Join in with the Kid's Club

Under controlWhat makes Kids Club really special is that it's run by the parents. This guarantees the children and their parents are uniquely cared for by the experts—those who have children themselves!

Each week, parents on the rota take turns to hold their own style of Kid's Club.

In addition, any parent who attends kids club with their child is considered as part of the team and expected to muck in—be that sharpening a pencil or two, or helping with preparing juice and biscuits, it all goes towards showing the children the value of community.

The Christmas Jesse TreeParents wishing to get more involved in church life can sign up for the Kids Club rota and join in the real fun! There are two ways of getting involved. You might prefer to tackle some more in depth aspects of Christianity in the quiet corner with the older children, or if messy crafts and play is more your thing, you'll probably enjoy running a pre-school kids club session.

Running a kids club session is not as daunting as it might seem at first. You'll be provided with a copy of the teaching resource that deals with an aspect of the gospel story of the day and associated games and activities. It's clear, easy to follow and so simple anybody can do it! But we don't just throw you in the deep end. The children's church co-ordinator and the clergy will guide and support you until you feel confident enough to take the plunge!

Kids in ChurchAll the parents on the rota also get together socially over wine and nibbles every so often to exchange new ideas and ways to improve our already excellent service.

All of the parents who are involved in running kids club have found it an enriching and rewarding experience and are filled with a renewed sense of community that they never expected to find in central London.
