EPIPHANY SEASON


Sunday 5th February

10am - Parish Eucharist with Choir and String Quartet

Schubert Mass in G and Purcell's 'O God the King of Glory'

 

Sunday 5th February 6:30pm/7:45pm Choral Compline.

Join us for this ancient candlelit choral service. With instrumental and choral music there is plenty of time to find a little peace in the busy-ness of the Big City. 

Come along at 6.30pm in the church hall for a glass of sherry and soup beforehand, then the service will begin at 7.45pm.

Featuring O nata Lux by Tallis

 

Sunday 12th February 6:30pm: Charles Dickens Bicentennial Evensong

Join us for this traditional choral service with readings and music chosen to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens.

Sherry and Nibbles follow for ladies and street urchins alike.

St John's Late: Sunday Evenings in Spring

St John's Late provides alternative services for those who get up too late, have been away for the weekend, need a bit of space in the evening or just prefer a slightly more relaxed environment.

Seven Deadly Sins, Sundays 6.30pm during Lent

Through Lent Margaret has arranged a series of services with readings and music based on the seven deadly sins.
